Graham upbeat after injury

Eagles first-round defensive end Brandon Graham thanked his fans in the aftermath of his season-ending ACL tear. Graham limped off the field Sunday against the Cowboys.

"I want to thank everybody for making me feel better about the injury and look out for me next year because its going to be so much trouble!!" Graham wrote to his Twitter followers.

Graham is facing surgery and a lengthy rehab. Potentially, he could be looking to miss the start of next season, although each injury is different. Jamaal Jackson tore his ACL in the second to last game of the regular season and was back during training camp. He played in the opener before suffering a season-ending arm injury.

"He has a positive outlook on it and he just wants to get done what needs to get done and then get the rehab going and get back," coach Andy Reid said Monday. "So the ACL, especially the first one, they’re tough, it’s a tough rehab. You don’t quite know what to expect and you have to put a lot of trust in the trainer and in the doctor because they’re bending that knee in positions that it doesn’t want to be bent in, and that doesn’t feel real good. But listen, he’s a tough kid, he’ll work through it and he’ll be back. He’s upbeat at this point.”
