Looking at the offseason so far

Looking at the offseason so far

With the draft days away, it seemed like a good time to take a look at the moves the Eagles and their opposition in the NFC East have made since the end of last season, plus where they stand with their draft picks.

Each team certainly has needs to fill. You will note that the Eagles seem to have turned over the least in terms of numbers, but that does not mean they have not suffered significant losses.

In other news, the folks at Sports Illustrated have just provided us with Peter King's mock draft that is in this week's issue. King has the Eagles using the 21st pick on Pitt running back LeSean McCoy.

"There are more accomplished backs in the draft, but coach Andy Reid loves how McCoy catches the ball out of the backfield. He'll provide relief for Brian Westbrook."

King has the Chargers grabbing Georgia running back Knowshon Moreno with the 16th pick.

For more on the Eagles' potential pursuit of a running back in the draft, read Les Bowen's story from today's Daily News by clicking here.
