In honor of Eagletarian’s one-year anniversary, we are happy to present the Eagletarian “Pick the Pick” contest … And we thank you for stopping here over and over to check on the latest Eagles news and commentary.

Correctly select the player the Eagles pick in the first round Saturday and you could win a Daily News prize.

ENTER BY LISTING YOUR SELECTION FOR WHO THE EAGLES WILL PICK IN THE FIRST ROUND IN THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW. THE TIEBREAKER IS WHO THEY WILL SELECT IN THE SECOND ROUND. ONLY ENTRIES WITH A FIRST- AND SECOND-ROUND PICK WILL BE ELIGIBLE.

Here is how it works …

1. Entries close at 3 p.m. Saturday, one hour before the first round begins.

2. Only entries submitted in the comments section below will be accepted. Do not email Les or Domo.

3. One entry per customer. This will be strictly enforced by checking IP addresses.

4. From eligible entries only those who select the first-round pick correctly will be eligible for the prize. From there we'll crosscheck IP addresses and eliminate all multiple entries.

5. The tiebreaker will be the second-round pick, with preference to the earliest entry. For example, if five entries had both names correct, the first one posted would be our winner. If no one has both names correct, we will randomly select a winner from those who had the first-round pick correct. If the Eagles select in the first round and not the second, we will randomly chose from among those who have the first-round pick correct. If the Eagles trade out of the first round again, we will punt and try the contest again next year (actually, we will select someone at random for the prize).

Also, Paul Domowitch will do a live chat on all Eagles issue and the draft at noon Friday. You can leave a question by clicking here.

Lots more to come on Eagletarian today, tomorrow and all weekend long, so keep checking back with us.

About Eagletarian Blog
Les BowenLes Bowen has covered the Eagles for the Daily News since 2002. Before that, he spent nearly 13 years covering the Flyers. It took Les only a few seasons after the switch to figure out that there was no penalty box at the Linc, and that the time really wasn't his, despite what Andy Reid kept saying. Les came to Philadelphia and the Daily News from Charlotte in 1983. In the intervening years, he has pretty much lost track of NASCAR, and his accent. He, his wife Barbara, and their two sons live in Haddon Township, New Jersey. E-mail Les at bowenl@phillynews.com and follow him on Twitter.

Paul DomowitchPaul Domowitch has been with the Daily News since 1982. He has spent most of his nearly 3 decades with the paper covering the Eagles and pro football. For the last 10 years, he’s been a selector for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. A native of Wilkes-Barre and a graduate of Wilkes University, Domo started his career in Texas, working first for the Midland Reporter-Telegram (1976-78), and then for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, where he covered some god-awful Texas Ranger baseball teams. His first beat at the Daily News actually was boxing, which he covered just long enough to lose 2 sports coats to blood spatter before moving on to football. Domo and his wife Shelley, a University of Oklahoma grad who still hasn’t gotten over that Fiesta Bowl loss to Boise State 5 years ago, have 2 terrific daughters -- Allison, 28, who is an attorney in South Jersey, and Amy, 25, who works in administration for a professional baseball team. E-mail Domo at PDomo@aol.com and follow him on Twitter.
