The Eagles announced Tuesday they have signed a pair of seventh-round draftees to four-year contracts -- Arizona State guard Paul Fanaika and Maryland linebacker Moise Fokou. That means five of eight from the April draft are signed, leaving only the top three -- first-rounder Jeremy Maclin, second-rounder LeSean McCoy and fifth-rounder Cornelius Ingram.
Also, the team announced that offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg has been elected to the Grizzly Sports Hall 
of Fame at his alma mater, the University of Montana. Mornhinweg was a four-year starter at quarterback, and a two-time team MVP. His 6,081 passing yards currently rank seventh in school history.
Tuesday's OTA was held outdoors, after the morning thunderstorm deluge. Still no Asante Samuel, who is off "tending to some family matters," according to agent Alonzo Shavers. Since this camp is voluntary, Samuel cannot be fined by the team. He showed up for the first week. His absence this week is not a huge deal, but it does kind of undercut all that "leadership" talk Samuel reveled in when he granted reporters a rare audience last Thursday.
BTW, not trying to embarrass any well-intentioned people here, but another blog's contention that Kevin Kolb was throwing a lot of interceptions Monday got wide discussion. Problem: Kolb was running a scout team offense that was giving "looks" to the defense from the offenses of NFC East opponents. He was supposed to get picked off, and he was, several times in a row.
MLB Stewart Bradley worked out on his own yesterday after tweaking a hamstring.
It's a good thing this minicamp ends Thursday; special teams coordinator Ted Daisher might not have a voice by then. Daisher, a former John Harbaugh protege brought in from Cleveland this offseason, is very vocal and very exacting about how he wants things done. You always know when Daisher's on the field; sometimes he's detailing a technique, other times he's giving more generalized guidance -- "Let's get our heads out of our -----!" was a recent observation.

The Eagles have announced that a limited number of single-game tickets for all home games will go on sale Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
Fans may purchase tickets to regular and preseason Eagles games through Ticketmaster online at Ticketmaster.com or charge-by-phone (800-745-3000). Single-game tickets cost between $70 and $95, plus tax and convenience charges. There will be a limit of four tickets per person. Tickets will not be sold at the Lincoln Financial Field ticket office.
In past years, single-game tickets for the entire season have sold out within hours, so the Eagles are encouraging fans to act fast.

Les Bowen has covered the Eagles for the Daily News since 2002. Before that, he spent nearly 13 years covering the Flyers. It took Les only a few seasons after the switch to figure out that there was no penalty box at the Linc, and that the time really wasn't his, despite what Andy Reid kept saying. Les came to Philadelphia and the Daily News from Charlotte in 1983. In the intervening years, he has pretty much lost track of NASCAR, and his accent. He, his wife Barbara, and their two sons live in Haddon Township, New Jersey.
Paul Domowitch has been with the Daily News since 1982. He has spent most of his 27 years at the paper covering the Eagles and pro football. For the last 10 years, he’s been a selector for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. A native of Wilkes-Barre and a graduate of Wilkes University, Domo came to the Daily News from the Fort Worth (Tx.) Star-Telegram, where he covered some god-awful Texas Ranger baseball teams. His first beat at the Daily News actually wa s boxing, which he covered just long enough to lose two sports coats to blood spatter before moving on to football. Domo and his wife Shelley, a University of Oklahoma grad and very dangerous to be around following a Sooner loss, have been married 29 years and have raised 2 terrific daughters – Allison, 26, a lawyer and graduate of Boston University School of Law; and Amy, 23, who graduated from Clemson and works in marketing and sales for a professional baseball team.
