Eagles have interest in West Virginia QB?

Here is an interesting name to add to the potential draft possibilities for your Philadelphia Eagles: Pat White.

Eagles representatives will be in West Virginia today to conduct a private workout with White, the Mountaineers quarterback, according to Scout.com.

The question is, what position might they be looking at White to play. He could be a return specialist while he develops his skills at wide receiver. He also could be used in a variation of the Wildcat formation, which has become so popular and in which the Eagles used DeSean Jackson last season.

White has a strong arm, but he lacks some accuracy and touch, according to scouting reports.

He certainly put up huge numbers at West Virginia and was the Big East Offensive Player of the Year for the last two seasons. Last year, he ran for 1,335 yards on 197 carries and 14 touchdowns. He also passed for 1,724 yards with 14 TDs and four interceptions.

He also is scheduled for a second workout with the New England Patriots, according to Scout.com.

White is projected as a second or third-rounder.
