The Eagles have re-signed linebacker Akeem Jordan to a 2-year contract.

He had originally signed a 1-year deal with team this summer.

Jordan, the only free agent who rejoined the Eagles, is listed as the backup to Moises Fokou as the weakside linebacker.

Jordan was signed by the Eagles in 2007 as an undrafted free agent from James Madison. He has played in 53 games with 20 starts in the last four seasons. He started three games last season and made 27 tackles. He also was a major contributor on special teams.
