Eagles-Vikings moved to prime time

The Eagles game against the Minnesota Vikings on Dec. 26 has been flexed to a prime-time start on NBC. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 at Lincoln Financial Field.

The game had been scheduled for 1 p.m. on Fox.

The Eagles are 5-0 in prime-time games this season after last night's win over the Cowboys.

The popularity of Michael Vick is certainly among the reasons, but consider this: last night’s Eagles-Cowboys game tied the record for the highest overnight rating in the five-year history of “Sunday Night Football,” tied for the best Sunday/Monday primetime NFL rating in 12 years, was up 20 percent over last year’s Week 14 game. The game  registered a 16.5 overnight rating and a 25 share.
