Wide receivers Jason Avant and DeSean Jackson both had costly drops. Jackson, who injured his knee early in the game, had just 2 receptions.

RUN DEFENSE: Packers were supposed to be a one-dimensional offense. But they ran the ball very effectively against the Eagles, grinding out 138 yards on 32 carries. Rookie James Starks rushed for 123 yards, which was 22 more than his season total.

Grade: D

PASS DEFENSE: The Eagles took away the deep ball from Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. He averaged just 6.7 yards per attempt and didn't have a completion longer than 20 yards. But he was 5-for-5 with 3 touchdowns passes in the red zone and completed 6 of 8 third-down passes.

Grade: C-minus

SPECIAL TEAMS: Usually reliable Pro Bowl PK David Akers, who had converted 26 of his previous 28 field goal attempts, missed 34- and 41-yard attempts that turned out to be the different in the game. Gerard Lawson had a holding penalty on DeSean Jackson's last punt return that cost the Eagles 10 yards.

Grade: D

OVERALL: An offense that set a franchise record for scoring for the third year in a row, managed just 16 points and 18 first downs. A defense that has struggled on third down and in the red zone all year, struggled again, though it held the Packers to few enough points to win.

Grade: C
