On the whole, the grades look about right, although the run defense should only merit a C or C-minus.

Why does Trotter always have to go out of his way to make you realize that he made a play? He simply touches Jacobs' leg and he makes it seem like he threw him down for a loss. Its funny...

93phils: Right on. And can DJax just go into the end zone and hand the ball to the official? Don't these players realize how lame they look? But asking football players to show humility after making a play on the field is like asking Republicans to engage in a civil, rational political debate.

A- on special teams - a returned punt for a TD puts them into the A category.

andreafrombrooklyn - don't people realize how stupid they sound when they make generalized 5th grade political insults on an Eagles article? Agree Trot overdoes it, but don't think it's fabricated, the guy has some built up emotion and is doing what he loves. Better that than Randy Moss

I'm laughing about the fact that Axeman is saying andrew is a 5th grader when he types andrea. Axeman must be a Republican. That's the way they defend themselves, hurled insults with lack of insight.

How we went from talking about football to a lame political shot at Republicans amazes me...let's stick with football...

HandNik - Pretty sure replacing "andrew" with "andrea" was part of the joke...like, he was trying to imply he was a woman, not a man...see what he did there? Anyways, good win by the Birds, but my God, does Sean just decide not to ever run tackling drills for this team? Looked like EVERYONE out there was Asante last night--I at least EXPECT it from him at this point, but Q? C'mon dude...but that's enough complaining considering we swept the G-strings this year. Hell yes

Les BowenLes Bowen has covered the Eagles for the Daily News since 2002. Before that, he spent nearly 13 years covering the Flyers. It took Les only a few seasons after the switch to figure out that there was no penalty box at the Linc, and that the time really wasn't his, despite what Andy Reid kept saying. Les came to Philadelphia and the Daily News from Charlotte in 1983. In the intervening years, he has pretty much lost track of NASCAR, and his accent. He, his wife Barbara, and their two sons live in Haddon Township, New Jersey. E-mail Les at bowenl@phillynews.com and follow him on Twitter.

Paul DomowitchPaul Domowitch has been with the Daily News since 1982. He has spent most of his nearly 3 decades with the paper covering the Eagles and pro football. For the last 10 years, he’s been a selector for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. A native of Wilkes-Barre and a graduate of Wilkes University, Domo started his career in Texas, working first for the Midland Reporter-Telegram (1976-78), and then for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, where he covered some god-awful Texas Ranger baseball teams. His first beat at the Daily News actually was boxing, which he covered just long enough to lose 2 sports coats to blood spatter before moving on to football. Domo and his wife Shelley, a University of Oklahoma grad who still hasn’t gotten over that Fiesta Bowl loss to Boise State 5 years ago, have 2 terrific daughters -- Allison, 28, who is an attorney in South Jersey, and Amy, 25, who works in administration for a professional baseball team.
