What a list! Sick, Lame, Lazy. CurseofBillyPenn - I assume by "boatload" you mean a 5th and conditional 3rd? dragoon6

The list isn't a very good list, which must be pleasing to Banner and Roseman since at least 2 other teams in the NFC east would be willing to spend like crazy in an uncapped year. The question is: Where do the Eagles want to be in 2 years? Do they expect to win a Lombardi trophy in that time? Brad Johnson(Tampa) is the last QB to win the Super Bowl who had to deal with uncertainty about his job status, and his team had a new coach, and the best defense in the league. The Eagles either have a lot of work to do, or better hope the NFC gets even worse than it has been. 76erfn
"It's weird seeing LJ Smith on that list. He had flashes of greatness for us and now he's unwanted." ...huh? listen here mr smith, your son was hurt often, went down too easy and was dumb as a plant.......there are reasons that he is unwanted Frank_Drebin

fell asleep trying to recognize names. i wouldn't want any of them bigsteve
Eagles could be upgraded by a few names on that list. If Reid committed to running the ball--instead of relying on erratic/explosive McNabb--a run blocking TE like Crumpler would go a long way. Did LenDale White (RB) get resigned someplace? Always liked Jason Taylor from Dolphins--think he is older than Sean McDermott. Smashmouth- Lendale White's under contract this year - FA next year, assuming they go back to unrestricted free agency after 4 years of service. The other thing to consider with this list - it's entirely possible that, given there are no cap ramifications for releasing players, that a whole new boatload of guys who are currently making more than their teams think they are worth will be released following the draft. Just something to think about for everyone who's already declaring this offseason a disaster after one week. JLB
Had to spray and disinfect my room after reading that list. Stinking up the joint! Forget about Fraley guys, if we need insurance grab Mawae for 2 years til something better is available in the draft. Other than that, my only comments are P-Uuuu dapmman
What? No more guys to pick up with torn ACL's! BigLadd
If they have McNabb as the starter, I'd bring in Kevin Mawae. For a 1 year deal, he's still a solid pro who would not allow the push right up the middle. davekrieg
