Cowboys didn't like DeSean's end zone antics
Daily News staff
Andy Reid wasn't the only one not thrilled with DeSean Jackson's backwards fall into the end zone at the end of his 91-yard touchdown reception.
Some of the Dallas Cowboys weren't particularly fond of it, either.
``It was disrespectful," cornerback Mike Jenkins said. He knew he was going to score. That's him. We beat him three times in a row last year, so he was going to come back and try to everything he could."
Linebacker Keith Brooking: ``He's a great player. Obviously when you make a play like that, you're going to get excited. I don't think that's the best part of football, but I guess he did.''
Defensive back Orlando Scandrick: “We’re good friends and hang out in the offseason. He’s just being himself. Some people might say a showboat. But we all play this game. It’s fun, and what goes on between those lines gets left out there. Is it disrespectful? Possibly.”

As we told you in today's Daily News, Tashard Choice said the Michael Vick autograph that he got after the game was for his 3-year-old nephew.
Choice immediately went on Twitter to try to quell the negative fan reaction.
He explained further to the Dallas Morning News. Choice said he knew Vick from the time that Vick was in Atlanta with the Falcons and Choice was at Georgia Tech.
"I have nothing but respect for him," Choice said. "I admire somebody who can overcome circumstances and come back and prove people wrong."
Choice continued his apology this morning on Twitter:
"If its anybody that cares about winning and the d cowboys its me. I apologize to the people it was just an innocent gensture for my nephew."

The Eagles apparently had a rough flight up, according to some players.
"Just touched down in Philly," Jamar Chaney wrote. "That was a rough flight. Had to start praying it was so much turbulence."
"That the Lord," DeSean Jackson wrote. "Jus made it safe, one of the worst turbulence I every witness!! Woke us all up out our sleep."

Asante Samuel was back at the NovaCare Complex this morning for treatment on his knee.
We will see what Andy Reid has to say about his status and other injuries at noon. Check back on Eagletarian for more updates.

Then stop him. MattKnife
DeSean just helps other teams get jacked up for the Eagles. He doesn't want to be Jerry Rice. He wants to be Terrell Owens. The play spoke for itself, and people would still be talking about it, but now they're talking about what an idiot he is. Ultimately he may cost himself $10 million in the NFL by trying to be Owens or Ochocinco, instead of Rice. Smart teams are wary about spending too much money on the divas. tacklinjoe
Comment removed.- This is much to do about nothing. If the Cowgirls don't like DeSean's antics than they should keep him out of the end zone. delcodanno
I would love to see the Eagles run out of bounds when Jerry Jones is on the side line and take his knees out. That creep should stay up in his box where he belongs. Fast Eddie
I find Andy McReid's appearance to be offensive, in addition to many players' attempts to coerce people into believing their religious preferences by pointing to the sky. It was a pretty passive endzone entry - what's the big deal? Liberty4All
The biggest HOT DOG to play in Dallas was Irvin. Glad to see him carted off the Vet turf. Not enough of mustard to cover him. Fast Eddie- I hate turbulence.
It's easy to say after the game, that you didn't like Jackson's actions. The Cowboys' defenders gave up on the play, so more power to a guy showing them up. Since Jackson got a penalty, frankly they shouldn't really have said anything. The Eagles showed last night that despite some miscues, that they have one of the top teams in the NFC, if not the league. It's going to take a really tough D to stop them, and I'm not sure Atlanta has it. 76erfn

Here's an idea Dallas....If you don't like Jackson's touchdown dance, then stop him from getting there. Can't wait for January 2. eaglestravis

Who cares what the stinkin' cowboys think? You don't want Jackson to showboat, then you should have stopped him. Only had 91 yards to do it. Maybe when the Cowboys get some humility, guys like Jackson won't showboat. I was shooting on the sideline when Randall pulled the fake knee pass against Landry. That was Buddy's way of getting back at the boys' varsity stomping the replacement team during the strike year. All the boy's supporters cried, "how could he do that to Tom?" Maybe Mr. Hat should have been a little classier than to keep his first string in against a bunch of sandlot players. I don't go for hot dogs, except against Dallas. mike l- Antics? Remember who the opponent is. I loved what T.O. did while he was still a 49'er, and danced on their star at midfield. You take the good with the bad. Deasean's game is to play motivated and he is a natural showman, ala T.O. and Ochocinco. Time will come when Deasean cools his act a bit. Don't firget his age, and the fact this is something he has done long before coming to the Eagles. It's about having a winning attitude, playing and running on a bad wheel, and wanting to stay in the game. He is a team guy now, not divisive. Keep doing D-Jax, especially against the Cowgirls. Disrespectful? Turtleneck head Jerry Jones was on the field, grabbing camera time. After Desean, there were no more JJ camera shots. So, Desean did the right thing. Go Eagles!!
