The Pro Football Talk Web site says Eagles defensive end Chris Clemons is OK, after being treated and released from a Bethlehem-area hospital Tuesday.
An Eagles spokesman said he did not know if that was the case, and did not know where Clemons was being treated, after leaving training camp in an ambulance just before 11:30 a.m. Clemons was suffering apparent heat-related problems.
The PFT item was posted at 1:05 p.m. Around 2:15 p.m., agent Donal Henderson told Eagletarian he was still awaiting confirmation from the Eagles that Clemons was out of the hospital.
*Safety Sean Considine laid a strong lick on wideout Kevin Curtis
*Before leaving the field on a cart suffering from heat problems, Chris Clemons broke through the line and batted down a Kevin Kolb pass.
*Hank Baskett made a lovely leaping sideline catch over Sheldon Brown, the kind you wish the Eagles would give Baskett a chance to make in a game every now and then. "Play above the rim," Eagles all-time great Harold Carmichael told Baskett, approvingly.
*Linebacker Joe Mays tossed down running back Ryan Moats for little gain on a screen.
*Donovan McNabb threaded a long pass to wideout Reggie Brown, who caught it in the end zone while being tackled by Considine.
*Thirty-seven-year old defensive tackle Kimo von Oelhoffen left practice with what Andy Reid said was a knee injury, of undetermined severity.
