Birds corner Fletcher sidelined

Corner Bradley Fletcher, hampered by a pectoral muscle injury, thought all week he'd be able to play today, but he can't.

GREEN BAY, Wisc. -- All week, Eagles corner Bradley Fletcher assured reporters that the pectoral injury he suffered last Sunday at Oakland would not sideline him today. But when the Eagles' inactives were announced, Fletcher was among them.

Fletcher was limited in practice and was listed as questionable on the Birds' Friday injury report. His absence probably means Brandon Boykin moves outside and Roc Carmichael becomes the nickel corner, though that is unofficial.

Also inactive are the usual suspects: QB Michael Vick, LB Jake Knott, OTs Matt Tobin and Dennis Kelly, RB Matthew Tucker and WR B.J. Cunningham.

Of course, QB Aaron Rodgers is inactive for Green Bay after suffering a broken collarbone Monday night. LB Clay Matthews returns to the lineup today after surgery for a broken thumb.
