Andy Says In Joe He Trusts

POSTED: Wednesday, February 23, 2011, 12:24 PM

As Eagles coach Andy Reid arrived in Indianapolis today, he told your Eagletarian he was unaware of team president Joe Banner's remarks last week.

Banner expressed strong support for Reid and his ability to win a Super Bowl, but Banner also indicated Reid needs to win one to get another contract, after the one that expires after the 2013 season.

"I haven't read anything about that," said Reid, who is attending the annual NFL scouting combine. "But I have full trust in Joe."

Does anybody believe anything Andy Reid says? Really Andy? You were unaware of your boss's remarks to the entire city media? Do you live in a cave up in Villanova? AR is the biggest POS fraud this town has ever had. And Joe Banner and Jeffrey Lurie are his accomplices.

C'mon, just two months ago Big Red had (y)wolf's vote for coach of the year. That's gotta be worth something.

I don't understand why there is such animosity towards Joe Banner yet Jeff Lurie gets none. Lurie, at the end of the day is at fault for the LONG Andy Reid "five year plan" and for Joe Banner's budgetary sabermetrics.

Andy doesn't have time to read the papers. He is too busy working the NFL medical waiver wire for another piece of the puzzle. "You can't have enough ACL and MCL guys on the roster" says our Banner puppet Coach.

WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU EXPECT HIM TO SAY....He is NOT going to badmouth his boss....and he knows if he keeps his mouth shut he is here forever...after all his record matches the Steelers record....oh you mean super Rings don't matter...and besides Andy relishes ignoring questions and being arrogant to fans and media....

I dont know why everybody always talks bad about Banner and the Eagles. They have a very good team most years. The are very successful. And it is very difficult to win the whole thing. I'm just glad they are competitive and that they are not like the Bucaneers, Rams, Ravens, or Saints....teams that never win. Oh wait, all of those teams have WON Super Bowls in the last ten years? Never mind...

Yeah - maybe we all need to take a walk down 'Memory Lane'.
Don't forget to stop at Mike McCormick's house.
