EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Former Eagles offensive lineman Shawn Andrews did not practice today due to a sore back.
Andrews played the last two games for the Giants at left tackle. He was especially impressive against the Cowboys’ DeMarcus Ware.
The Eagles released Andrews in May when they became convinced that his 2-year battle with back injuries would continue to plague him. The Giants signed him in during training camp in August.
Andrews also was known for his outlandish appearance, a bizarre youtube.com video and his admitted bout with depression.
