The Colts have ruled out running back Joseph Addai (neck) and four other players for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Addai did not travel with the team to Philadelphia. Tight end Brody Eldridge (rib), running back Mike Hart (ankle), linebacker Clint Session (elbow) and defensive back Justin Tryon (foot) all did not make the trip.

With both Addai and Hart sidelined, Donald Brown will make his first career start, despite the fact that he is still hampered by a hamstring injury. Brown had 16 yards on nine carries Monday night against the Texans in his first action since Week 3.

The Colts are second in the NFL in total offense, and not because of their run game, which ranks 23rd. Peyton Manning has been sacked only seven times this season and has been a master at dealing with the blitz.

Indianaolis also put wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez on injured reserve with a torn ligament in his knee.

The Colts already had ruled out defensive tackle Antonio Johnson (knee) and safety Bob Sanders (biceps) were ruled out Friday.

I remember 2002 when the Colts' Edgerrin James was out for the Eagles game at the Vet. What a break! Oh, the backup, Jame Mungro, ran wild - all day: 28 carries, 114 yards, 2 TDs. I kind of wish Addai was playing - well, whatever.

This could be an ugly day, manning tears up Eagles secondary with...no one at wide receiver.

This will be an ugly game for the colts, Not for the Eagles. The Eagles are going to win this game. Everyone wanted to make a big deal about John Abraham and Cory Bierman when the Eagles played Atlanta and they did not come close to sacking Kolb. Freeney and Mathais are goinig to do nothing because the Eagles offensive line is going to dominate the Colts D-line. The Eagles have all there weapons back and Vick is going to light up the Colts Secondary. The Colts are Injured, Manning has little targets to throw to, Colts have no running game and Trent Cole and the Eagles D-line is going to have a field day dominate the Colts O-line sacking manning 4 or more times. Eagles win this game in a blowout. Eagles 38 Colts 17.
