3 Eagles named second-team All-Pro

Eagles left tackle Jason Peters, kicker David Akers and safety Quintin Mikell were named second-team All-Pro by the Associated Press today. No Eagles made the first team.

Eagles left tackle Jason Peters, kicker David Akers and safety Quintin Mikell were named second-team All-Pro by the Associated Press today.

No Eagles made the first team.

Voting was done by a 50-member panel and New England quarterback Tom Brady was a unanimous selection, the seventh consecutive year that someone has gotten every vote.

The AFC had 18 of the 27 spots on the first team: nine on offense, seven on defense, two special teamers.
