A 76-year-old woman was caught in the crossfire of two trigger-happy punks in Kensington earlier today.

Police said the victim, whose name was not released, was wounded in the leg by a stray bullet when gunshots rang out on Water Street near Cumberland about 2:15 p.m. She was treated at Temple University Hospital and later released.

Police said a nearby surveillance camera recorded one of the suspects, a medium-built Hispanic man in his 20s who wore a black shirt and blue jeans, fleeing the scene on foot.

The other suspect, a Hispanic man who wore a black hoodie, fled in a white car with a license plate that contains the numbers 9559. It was unclear why the men had been firing at each other.
