A 23-year-old woman was being treated for wounds to her neck and hand after police say she was stabbed -- possibly by someone wielding a broken glass bottle -- on a playground in Southwest Philadelphia's Mount Moriah neighborhood.

Shortly before 10 p.m., the woman was attacked at McCreesh Playground, on Regent Street near 67th, and stabbed once in the neck and twice in the left hand, cops said. She walked about four blocks to a firehouse at 65th Street and Woodland Avenue and was taken by medics to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

She was listed in stable condition.

Police said they were unable to locate evidence at the scene of the stabbing, and the victim did not provide them with a description of her attacker.
