A 48-year-old woman has been hospitalized after being shot in Kensington Sunday afternoon, police said.

A 48-year-old woman has been hospitalized after being shot in Kensington Sunday afternoon, police said.

The shooting happened just before 3 p.m. on Crystal Street near Tioga. Police said the female victim was wounded three times in the ear, shoulder and abdomen. She was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she was listed in critical but stable condition.

Police did not have any information regarding a suspect or possible motive.
