Video: Help cops nab man who robbed Port Richmond Rite Aid

Cops are looking for a man who robbed a Rite Aid on Aramingo Avenue near Huntingdon Street in Port Richmond on Monday.

Police on Friday released video of the robbery that shows the man standing at the register, apparently buying something, and then passing a note that said he had a gun to the cashier. The cashier then filled a bag with $370 cash, police said, and the robber took off in an unknown direction.

If you recognize the man in the video or have information on the robbery, call the East Detective Division at 215-686-3243, the police tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477), text a tip to PPD TIP (773847) or submit a tip online.

Meanwhile, cops in the East Division are also searching for a man who they say assaulted the owner of a Hunting Park laundromat last month. To watch that video and read more about the crime, visit the Philadelphia Police YouTube page here.
