U.S. Marshals arrest man in December homicide

U.S. Marshals on Friday nabbed a 20-year-old man wanted in the December murder of 19-year-old Najji Abdul-Rahim in West Philadelphia.

U.S. Marshals on Friday nabbed a 20-year-old man wanted in the December murder of 19-year-old Najji Abdul-Rahim in West Philadelphia.

Brandon Roberts is accused of shooting Abdul-Rahim to death at 58th and Master streets Dec. 4. Authorities said they tracked Roberts down at a friend's apartment at 63rd and Jefferson streets, and U.S. Marshals arrested him there Friday night.

Roberts is being held at Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility and is charged with murder, firearms violations and related offenses. He's scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing Jan. 23.
