Two dead in NE Philly murder-suicide

Just got back not long ago from a tragic situation in Mayfair. The skinny, in case you missed the 11 o'clock news:

Police said Michael Osborn fatally shot his former girlfriend, Patricia Moscato, and then spent four hours holed up in his former co-worker's apartment. The standoff ended at about 10 p.m., when SWAT cops finally stormed the apartment and found Osborn dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to investigators.

Osborn shot Moscato twice in the arm at about 5:30 p.m. on Rawle Street near Rowland Avenue, the investigators said. One of the bullets entered Moscato's abdomen, and she died at Frankford-Torresdale Hospital a short while later. It was unclear tonight what prompted the fatal argument, but investigators said Osborn and Moscato had a long, troubled history, and Moscato had apparently secured a  restraining order at one point.
