Two men are wanted for robbing a gas station in Overbrook Park at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon, police said. Surveillance cameras recorded the incident and the footage was released to the public on Friday.

The suspects walked into the gas station on Haverford Avenue near Brookhaven Road around 5:45 p.m. One of the men pulled a silver revolver on two employees and demanded money, police said. The clerk handed the suspects about $150. The robber was unsatisfied and demanded that the clerk give him more money and threatened to kill him, police said.

The suspect began counting down and one of the emplyoees picked up a metal chair and chased the men out of the store, police said.

The robbers are described as two black men in their early 20s. The gun-toting man was described as being 6 feet tall and thin. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, police said. His accomplice is about 5 feet 8 inches tall, has a light complexion and a stocky build. The man was wearing a light jacket with a hood, police said.

Tipsters are asked to call 215-686-TIPS (8477) or text information to PPDTIP (773847). Tipsters may also submit information online.
