Two men were killed and a third seriously injured during overnight shootings in North Philadelphia, police said.

Two men were killed and a third seriously injured during overnight shootings in North Philadelphia, police said.

The first shooting was reported at 11:51 p.m. on 27th Street near Cecil B. Moore Avenue. Police said a 32-year-old man was found shot in the chest inside a house. The man, whose name was not released, was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was declared dead an hour later.

Then just before 2 a.m. on Master Street near American, a 28-year-old man was found shot twice in the head inside the driver's seat of a 2006 Dodge Magnum, police said. He was declared dead at the scene and his name has not been released. A 43-year-old man in the passenger's seat suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the arms, thigh and a graze wound to the chest. He was taken to Hahnemann Hospital in critical condition.

No arrests were reported in either shooting.
