Cops: Temple students bound, robbed during home invasion

Police are searching for three men who allegedly bound a group of Temple University students during a home invasion robbery.

Police are searching for three men who allegedly bound a group of Temple University students during a home invasion robbery.

The incident was reported at 7:30 p.m. at an off-campus residence on North 18th Street near Berks. Police said a female student was walking home and was followed by three black males, two of which were armed. The males allegedly forced the woman inside her second-floor apartment.

The woman and three female roommates who were inside the apartment were duct taped, police said. The robbers took off with computer equipment, cell phones, an uknown amount of cash and numerous credit cards. The victims were not harmed.

The university sent an advisory to students notifying them of the incident at 9:14 p.m. The advisory urged students to use caution in the area and "take advantage of TUr Door and other forms of transportation."

No arrests have been made.
