Two teens are in stable condition after being shot on 9th Street near Somerset in Fairhill Friday afternoon, police said.

Two teens are in stable condition after being shot on 9th Street near Somerset in Fairhill Friday afternoon, police said.

Shots were fired around 3:50 p.m., wounding a 19-year-old man in his right calf, right buttocks and right thigh. A 17-year-old boy was also wounded in his left knee, police said.

Both were taken by private vehicles to Temple University Hospital and were listed in stable condition Friday night.

Authorities in the East Detective Division were searching the area to determine whether any nearby surveillance cameras recorded the incident.

The shooter sped away from the scene in a car, however details on the make and model were not immediately available and police could not provide a detailed description of the suspect.

The shooter’s motive was unknown Friday night.
