Teen abducted, assaulted in Holmesburg

A 15-year-old girl was abducted and assaulted Tuesday morning in Holmesburg, police said.

The teen told investigators she was on Marsden Street near Torresdale Avenue at 8:30 a.m. when her attacker approached her and forced her into a blue two-door older-model car. He then drover her to a remote boat ramp near Linden and Delaware avenues, where police say he physically assaulted her, slapping her in the face.

The victim was later brought back to her neighborhood by the man, at which point she ran home and reported it.

Police later Tuesday released a composite sketch and description of the attacker. He's described as a 50- to 60-year-old white man about 5 feet 7 with a medium build, light complexion, and clean shaven wtih dirty blond hair. He wore a black leather jacket, ripped dark-blue jeans and white Nike sneakers, and the blue coupe he drove had scratches on the side and leopard-print covers on the front seats and steering wheel.
