A surveillance camera inside an electronics store on South Street near 3rd recorded a man snatching iPhones and iPads from their displays and stuffing them into his coat.

The man stole from the Wireless Zone in Queen Village multiple times between Jan. 20 and Jan. 25, and police posted the footage online in hopes that help from the public will lead to an arrest.

The suspect is described as a white man, who is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs between 190 and 200 pounds.

Police said the man has facial hair and tattoos on his neck.

He was wearing a black baseball cap with “SOX” embroidered on it, blue jeans and a black coat.

Tipsters are asked to call 215-686-TIPS or the Philadelphia Police South Detective Division at 215-686-3013.
