Slain limo driver was Kensington man

Police have identified the limousine driver gunned down Monday night in Feltonville as Sabastian Nunez-Suarez, 52, of Kip Street near Allegheny Avenue in Kensington.

Police have identified the limousine driver gunned down Monday night in Feltonville as Sebastian Nunez-Suarez, 52, of Kip Street near Allegheny Avenue in Kensington.

Nunez-Suarez was shot in the face as he drove his Town Car on Bingham Street above Rockland just after 11 p.m., police said. After getting shot, the driver crashed into several parked cars. Three witnesses told cops they saw three young men running west on Rockland from the scene, police said. Within minutes, officers stopped a man covered in blood about two blocks away. That man remains in police custody and is still being questioned.

Police believe the driver had passengers in his car, and that one fired from the back seat to kill him. The motive remains unknown.
