Shootings leave two dead, one injured

A man was shot multiple times on Cambria Street near Bailey in North Philadelphia about 5 p.m. Monday.

Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said the man was shot twice in the back, once in the side and once in the arm. He was taken to Temple University Hospital and was pronounced dead at 5:30 p.m. Officials were unsure of the man's age.

Just before 9 p.m., a man was killed and another was taken to the hospital after they were shot in Hunting Park.

Police said an 18-year-old man was shot four times on Tiber Street near Wyoming. He was taken to Temple University Hospital and pronounced dead at 9:20 p.m.

The other man, also 18, was shot in the lower left arm. He was taken by a private vehicle to St. Christopher's Hospital and was in stable condition as of 10 p.m.

Small said the shooting in Hunting Park happened about two blocks from the scene of an early Sunday morning shooting at a bar on Rising Sun Avenue that left nine people in the hospital
