Second suspect in West Philadelphia triple shooting arrested

A second suspect was arrested Monday in a December triple shooting at a West Philadelphia bar.

Paul D. Holloway, 26, was charged with the attempted murder of three males, between the ages 18 to 20, at Gold Coast Lounge on Lancaster Avenue near Wallace Street, police said.

After midnight on Dec. 30, two men carrying handguns strolled into the bar, firing at the victims as they chased them down. The three men – all shot in the leg at least once – were later treated at Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, a police spokeswoman said.

Police say the gunmen got into a fight earlier that night at the bar and later returned for retaliation. It's unclear if the victims were the intended targets.

Darryl Seals, Holloway’s alleged accomplice, was arrested on Jan. 9 following an anonymous tip to the police.

A preliminary hearing for Holloway is set for Feb. 19.
