An armed robbery duo held up a Chestnut Hill post office this afternoon, according to police.

An armed robbery duo held up a Chestnut Hill post office this afternoon, according to police.

The men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash after bursting in to the post office on Germantown Avenue near Southampton around 2:16 p.m., police said.

No one was injured in the hold up. Police described the theives as two tall, black men who were wearing hoods and masks during the crime.

A woman who answered the phone at the post office said they would remain closed for the rest of the day.
