Police pull man's body from Delaware

Officers from the police Marine Unit recovered a body floating in the Delaware River today, police said.

The remains were spotted just before 8 a.m. this morning near the Race Street Pier, Officer Jillian Russell, a police spokeswoman, said.

There were no signs of visible trauma to the man, whose identity and age were unknown, pending tests from the Medical Examiner's Office.

Police are continuing their investigation into how the man ended up in the water, Russell said.
