Police looking for armed robbery suspects

Police are still searching for two men who robbed a Subway restaurant in Tioga at gunpoint and ran off with $300 cash.

The men robbed the restaurant on Broad Street near Allegheny around 2:10 p.m. Aug. 28, police said.

One suspect showed an employee a handgun and demanded all the money from the register, cops said. The employee gave the suspect $300 from the drawer, and they ran from the restaurant in an unknown direction.

Police described the suspects as two black men: one was 5 feet 8 and wore a red bandanna, a red Phillies cap and a shirt with #11 and "ROLLINS" on the back. The man also wore black shorts and brown sandals; the other was 6 feet with a heavy build and wore a black Phillies cap, a white polo shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Tipsters are asked to call 215-686-TIPS.
