Police on Friday were investigating whether body parts found in a trash bag in Logan belong to a human.

Sanitation workers found the gruesome remains Friday afternoon off of Broad Street near Lindley Avenue, police said. Investigators are still working to determine whether the parts, which police said appeared to be those of a human upon initial examination, do indeed belong to a person.
