Police have identified a body found Thursday, wrapped in a sheet and dumped in a secluded North Philadelphia alley, as Shaquille Hall, 21.
Police had no current address available for Hall, who died of multiple gunshot wounds, said Officer Christine O'Brien, a police spokeswoman. Police haven't determined a motive or developed suspects.
Several neighborhood kids made the grisly find just after 6 p.m. Thursday on 11th Street near Huntingdon. Hall's body had been wrapped in a red bedsheet and secured with duct tape, with his feet, clad in Converse sneakers, sticking out of the bottom.Police believe someone carried the body and dumped it into the alley, a narrow, debris-strewn walkway connecting Huntingdon and Warnock streets.
