Police have identified the 30-year-old woman found shot to death on a street in Tioga Sunday morning.

Malisha Jessie, of Mount Vernon Street near 17th in the city’s Spring Garden section, was found with gunshot wounds to the head and chest on Bailey Street near Willard shortly before 7:30 a.m. Sunday. Jessie died at the scene, police said.

Investigators have no suspects or motive for Jessie’s slaying, a police spokeswoman said Monday.

Court records show that Jessie had prior arrests for charges including aggravated assault.
