Police identify man shot dead in Francisville

Police have identified a man shot to death Monday night in the city's Francisville section.

Killed in a shooting at Francis and Perkiomen streets around 11 p.m. that night was 20-year-old Jesse Roberts, who lived on Worrell Street near O in Juniata Park.

Police said they do not yet have a motive in the shooting, and there have been no arrests. Court records show that Roberts was convicted of drug possession and sentenced to probation earlier this year.
