Police on Monday identified a 20-year-old man shot dead in West Philadelphia's Carroll Park section early Sunday morning as Terrell Taylor.

Taylor lived on the same block of Hobart Street, near Master, where he was shot three times in the back, police said.

He died a short time after the 2:40 a.m. shooting at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

On Monday, police said they had not determined a motive in Taylor's killing, the 213th homicide of the year. No arrests have been made.
