Police arrested two Torresdale men and recovered more than $100,000 in stolen items after a three-month investigation into a vehicle burglary ring operating in the Far Northeast and Bensalem.

Ryan Shantz, 30, of Pearson Avenue near Cottage Street, and Michael Mager, 31, of Jackson Street near Magee, were charged with 61 counts of theft from auto and related offenses, police said. Investigators discovered the pair fenced stuff they stole at the Cash for Gold store located at Torresdale Avenue near Longshore. Police recovered the $100,000 in stolen items there, including power tools, laptop computers, camera, GPS devices, video game systems, musical instruments, air conditioners, snowblowers, and landscaping and carpentry equipment.

Anyone wishing to recover a stolen item that belongs to them can contact Lt. Paul Haag or Sgt. Dan Buckley at the Major Crimes Auto Squad at (215) 685-9130.

If not meth, druggies of some sort. Look for them in the "F&G-Mor" i.e OPTIONS i.e, drug rehab section of the Detention Center up on State Road in the near future.

fastforward 6 Months: Judge: I find you guilty and you are to be held on house arrest for 6 months. You will be forced to perform 25 hours of community service! You have disrespected you parents, family and the city! Dou you have any comments? Ryan Shantz: I am sorry your honor and I eill be good from here on in!

Judge: Let this harsh sentencing be a lesson to you. Ryan Shantz: I will judge I am moving to Bensalem where they don't have many cops!

All of you white hatin racist Obamaicons can shove it. Sure this guy deserves to be arrested but to spew your unintelligent accusations doesn't substantiate your attacks. This guy probably grew up without proper parenting, had inferior schooling, was subjected to drugs and developed a total disregard for humanity. Now leave him alone.
