Police: Shooting leaves two wounded in Fairhill

Police are searching for a gunman who wounded two men Wednesday afternoon in North Philadelphia's Fairhill section.

Cops said the victims, both 24-year-old men, were at the corner of Mascher and Cambria streets around 1:30 p.m. when they were both shot. One was wounded in the right leg and taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was in stable condition, and the second was wounded in the buttocks and later showed up at Episcopal Hospital in a private auto, police said. That victim was later transferred to Temple and listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made in the shooting, and police have not said what motivated it.
