Police: 2 shot in Southwest Philadelphia

Two men were shot on the street in Southwest Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Two men were shot on the street in Southwest Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The men were on Millick Street near Elmwood Avenue shortly before 3 p.m. when police say an unknown person opened fire on them. The first victim, a 24-year-old, was shot twice in the side, a police spokeswoman said. The second, age 18, was shot once in the right arm.

Both were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania by medics and listed in stable condition.

Police said no arrests have been made in the shooting.
