POSTED: Friday, June 1, 2012, 12:52 AM

A 29-year-old man is on life support at the Albert Einstein Medical Center after being shot Grange Street near American in Olney Thursday night, police said.

Around 10:15 p.m., the unidentified man was at a house on American Street when he was shot once in his head and once in his back, police said.

Cops found the man lying on the porch, but some of his blood was found in the kitchen. It was unclear early Friday morning where the man was when he was shot. However, police were awaiting a search warrant to look for more evidence inside the house.

The victim was initially listed in extremely critical condition and was upgraded to critical but stable condition as of 12:30 a.m. Police Friday morning said the man would likely remain on life support or die.

Eleven .22 caliber shell casings were found on the scene. Cops checked surveillance cameras at two nearby businesses and one of them recorded part of the incident, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.

Two witnesses were taken to speak with police in the Northwest Detective Division and a detailed description of the suspect was not immediately available.

The shooting was one of four incidents within a 90-minute period Thursday night that left a total of six people hospitalized, police said.

A teenager was fatally shot on 5th Street near Pierce in Southwark around 9:45 p.m.

Soon after, three people were wounded on 8th Street near Jackson in South Philadelphia.

While cops were investigating the shooting in Olney, a 19-year-old man was shot in his right foot around 11:20 p.m. on 19th Street near Oxford in North Philadelphia. He was listed in stable condition at Hahnemann University Hospital Friday morning, police said.

You are correct that the "black man' is not solely responsible for all the city problems. However the"black man" has the right not use illicit drugs or purchase firearms for criminal purposes.

Welcome to the States, "Here I Am". You will really enjoy America once you can write in English. But you got the bigotry down already, so you will fit in well.
