Police arrested Jamal Glover, 23 of North Philadelphia, for allegedly shooting a 19-year-old man to death on Cambria Street near Stiles in late May.

An argument on May 23 escalated to gunfire, and Glover, of Stillman Street near Somerset, shot Britten multiple times throughout his body, police said.

Britten, of Silver Street near 25th, was taken to Temple University Hospital and was pronounced dead around 5:30 p.m.

Police could not provide information on what the two men were arguing over before the shooting.

Glover was arrested Wednesday, and is being held without bail in the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility. His arrest photo was not available Friday night.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 15.

Ms. Spreadheadpa, when this government kills 300,000 people in Iraq, destroy the infrastructure of that nation based on lies, and killed 200,000 people in Afghanistan to get Usama Bin Ladin, you and your government are the real savages. 4,000,000 killed in Viet Nam, and 4,000,000 killed in Korea, 60,000,000 killed during WWII, 50,000,000 killed during WWI. Who are the real savages?
These young Black males are killing each other not white people, even though it is white people who are supplying the drugs and guns to continually perpetuate this madness.

Aumu please explain how white people are supplying the guns and drugs that perpetuate the madness. Also, your reference to "your government" when responding to an earlier post suggests that the government of the United States is not your government. What brings you to our country and what would compel you to stay in a place for which you have such disdain?

aumu: i'm gonna call those in 'my governmnent' to stop perpetuating the supply of guns and drugs. Anyone have Eric Holder's #? He needs to stop supplying guns to Black people. It's his fault.
