Police are trying to identify the body of a murdered man who was found wrapped in a comforter in Frankford Saturday morning.

Medics who were called to Akron Street near Sanger around 8:30 a.m. discovered the body of a black man in his 30s with a gunshot wound to the lower back lying face down in the dirt wrapped in a brown comforter, police said.

The body was found in the rear driveway of a vacant lot between row homes, according to police.

Authorities are still searching for a motive and a suspect in the case.
