Police arrested a Marlton, N.J., woman Monday after authorities discovered a package containing nearly 14 pounds of marijuana had been shipped to her home by FedEx from California.

Tiffany C. Lewis, 25, of Kent Avenue near Radford Court, was charged with possession with intent to deliver and related offenses after Evesham Township police searched her home and found the drug stash, which has a street value of $25,000, police said. Lewis is now in the Burlington County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

The Mount Laurel Police Department and the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office's Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Task Force assisted in the investigation.

Wow good work guys. I personally feel a lot safer now that this thug is off the streets. It would be really bad if everyone had the munches tomorrow. Someone could have died smoking that stuff and eating to much cranberry sauce and apple pie. Enough already decriminalize it and generate some tax dollars. ow many people will drive drunk tomorrow and hurt someone as a result?

Wait a minute, you mean 14 lbs of weed is only worth 25,000 dollars?

That's actually a little high,IMO, unless it's schwag KB. They could also be estimating street value which could be value per ounce or possible per gram, which broken down you would get more per obviously compared to selling weight. and I hear of more and more people shipping this through regular channels. Which to me seems risky, but then again, if you use PO Boxes it may not be.

The Tonner can't drink Genny Cream Ale without getting bombed. He has a real problem.

@Graves but that depends on what you are drinking, just like what you are smoking. 1 beer vs a glass of whiskey..Plus you will never od on weed and once you are high, you don't get much "higher". You keep drinking and alcohol poisoning kicks in. It's just dumb that a plant needs to be outlawed, but we can have man made drinks that can kill you.Plus this woman is dumb having that stuff delivered to your house..Genius.

Legalize it and release the tens of thousands of "convicts" wrongfully jailed for this "crime."

Can't believe they didn't legalize weed in California. Damn shame.
