Man shot dead in Mill Creek

A 40-year-old man was fatally shot in the Mill Creek section of West Philadelphia Thursday night, police said.
The unidentified man was shot several times on Westminster Avenue near 51st Street shortly before 9 p.m.
He was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at 9:08 p.m.
Police reported no arrests or suspects in the shooting.
