Police are searching for a man who walked into a real estate office on Broad Street near Tasker and walked out with a woman's purse.

Police are searching for a man who walked into a real estate office on Broad Street near Tasker and walked out with a woman's purse.

The theft occurred around noon on Aug. 23, police said. A man walked into the office area and picked up a purse, which contained various forms of identification and credit cards, police said.

After snatching the purse, the man left the office and took off running north along Broad Street, police said. 

The thief is described as a black man in his 30s who was wearing a red shirt with grey stripes, long khaki shorts and a black backpack.

Tipsters are asked to call the South Detective Division at 215-686-3013 or text information to PPDTIP (773847).
