Man shot in stomach, woman grazed

A man was shot in the stomach and a woman was grazed by a bullet on Old York Road near Rockland Street shortly after 11 Tuesday night.

Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said a foot beat cop arrested a man who matched the description of the shooter a few blocks from the scene. The male victim was admitted to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical condition, Small said, and the woman suffered a graze wound to the knee.

The shooter's motive was unknown, Small said.
